Edition No. 2. We're back to talk Orchestration Kitchen (and other things)
Welcome back to our fun and insightful journey through the world of Identity Orchestration. Last month we introduced The Swell as the newsletter by the Strata team with the latest trends, thought leadership articles, interviews, and events happening in identity today.
Well, we're introducing one of those (virtual) events today! Enter the Orchestration Kitchen—a bi-weekly workshop series that tackles common identity challenges by showing you exactly how to solve them with Identity Orchestration.
But also, check out all the great links below.
Workshop
The Orchestration Kitchen is open
The Orchestration Kitchen is a new educational resource for identity and security professionals on how to address identity modernization use cases. The first three sessions of the series are open for registration. You'll learn how to:
Extend Okta to any unmanageable app
Make Azure work with any on-prem app
Go from SiteMinder to any modern IDP
Every session tackles a different identity challenge and shows you exactly how to solve it with Maverics. Sign up for individual workshops or subscribe to the complete series.
What is Identity Orchestration? The complete guide
Identity Orchestration's been quite the buzzword lately. But what's it all about, really? We're here to spill the beans. We've put together a handy guide to give you the lowdown on managing distributed identity in our fast-paced, multi-cloud world.
Identity Management today is Multi-cloud Identity Management. You can pick one cloud to be your home base, but even if you're primarily an Azure shop, there's always something running on GCP, AWS, or somewhere else. So the reality is you do have to be able to manage across different clouds.
Non-standards-based apps pose significant challenges for implementing advanced security measures like passwordless or phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication (MFA). This is because they don't have the functionality to support these features. The impossible is now possible with Identity Orchestration.
Maverics keeps getting better! In July, we released token settings, a telemetry switch, easier access controls, and evaluation environments. For more information and tutorials on our biggest new features, read the notes!
Large:IBM just released their 'Cost of a Data Breach Report 2023'. It's got some hard truths about increasing breaches and craftier hackers, but don't despair. Identity Orchestration might be the hero we need (OK, the report doesn't say that, but we're throwing our hat in).
